ODLAA National Open and Distance Learning Awards

Do you know someone who is making a substantial contribution to open and distance learning? If yes, consider nominating them for the ODLAA National Open and Distance Learning Awards.

To advance the study and practice of open, flexible and distance learning, education and training in Australia, ODLAA welcome nominees for the ODLAA National Open and Distance Learning Awards in ONE of the following categories:

 

  1. K-12 schooling
  2. Vocational Education
  3. Higher Education.

The recipient receives an award, annual membership, and a gift voucher.

 

Nomination criteria

Nominees must demonstrate one or more of the following:

 

  1. Excellence in open, online or distance education evidencing proven pedagogies in open and online spaces.
  2. Impact on student learning and engagement.
  3. Innovation in approaches to foster interactivity.
  4. Engagement in professional learning for active self-advancement of open and online understanding.
  5. Contribution to advancing open and online education.

Conditions of Nomination

 
  1. Nominations must be made by an ODLAA member or a person within an organisational membership. Non-members can submit a nomination and request an endorsement from an ODLAA executive member on the nomination form.
  2. Nominees do not need to be ODLAA members and self-nominations are accepted.
